Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Calibre collects when you create an account, buy credits and use our AI setup recommendations, and what rights you have over that data.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

01Data we collect

Account data: first name, last name, email address and the password hash created during checkout. We never store your password in readable form.

Order data: the number of credits ordered, the selected currency, the promotional code applied, the chosen payment method and the payment status of the order.

Setup data: the games, budget range, hardware and priorities you enter into the AI advisor, so recommendations can be generated and revisited later.

Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type and page interactions collected through essential and, where accepted, analytics cookies.

02How we use your data

To create and maintain your account, process credit orders and confirm bank transfer payments.

To generate personalized setup recommendations, performance estimates and upgrade advice.

To send transactional messages: order confirmations, bank details for transfers, payment receipts and service booking updates.

To detect fraud and abuse, and to comply with accounting and tax obligations.

03Legal basis for processing

Contract performance for account creation, credit orders and service delivery.

Legitimate interest for fraud prevention, security monitoring and product improvement.

Consent for optional analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie banner controls.

Legal obligation for financial record keeping related to credit purchases.

04Sharing and processors

We share data with payment and banking providers strictly to process and reconcile your credit order, and with email delivery providers used for transactional messages.

Independent professionals booked through the marketplace receive only the information needed to deliver the service you paid for with credits.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks.

05Retention

Account and setup data is kept while your account is active and for 12 months after your last activity.

Order and invoicing records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting law, typically five to ten years.

06Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Requests can be sent to [email protected] and are answered within 30 days.

You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

07Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls limited to staff who need it to operate the service.

Payment card data is never stored on Calibre systems; card, PayPal and Stripe payments, once available, are handled entirely by the payment provider.
